Just a glimpse of what is like to see a classic tango orchestra playing music. The sound is bad becasuse of the recording (you can see that it is grabbed from the monitor of a PC :) ), but still the feeling is there!!!

Tango nuevo at its best!!

Recently, while i was digging to youtube about tango videos i found a performance of Chicho with his new partner. In my opinion is among the best performances i have seen of Chicho and i think that they fit perfectly (even better than Parilla?)!!!

"Something to break the ice"..... or "Argentinian tango dancers"

After viewing (studing) several videos as well as attending to several live performances of of professional tango dancers, i have came up to the conclusion that Argentinian tango dancers (and i mean the pros) have something to their dance that no foreigner can achieve. Maybe is the fact that besides translating the music they hear they also incorporate and the lyrics to their dancing framework (building a more complex emotional structure). Some reasons that i can cite are the fact the lyrics are in their mother language, they are born in a tango culture while "gringos" discover it later to their life.

Anyway, i am waiting your opinion on that.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

Strange title for a post that serves as an announcement for this tango related blog. Actually the picture on the left gave me the idea. Who is the bad, the good and the ugly in this picture? I think that the answer is completely subjective. Try to pick*!!!
Anyway, the title (which for those that still don't get it, is from a Sergio leone's film) the only common that shares with tango is the perfect music that both bring to our minds.
Enough words, to the point, a blog spot for tango aficionados has been emerged out of nowhere or somewhere or ... what ever! ;)
I hope the things that will be posted here will pull the attention of YOU!!! :)

Anyway, i will start writing and hope that finally we will have a conversation!
